Present Oriented vs. Future Oriented
I think being Present Oriented is a benefit because you don’t have to be worrying of the tomorrow and the stress that it brings an example would be school we go to it so it can prepare us for a good job and a good future but sometimes it can be really stressful if you get to much work and if we thought of the today it wouldn’t matter the tomorrow or the next 2 or the rest of the years. Future Oriented is a benefit because you make better decisions that are planned ahead you have time to save money for what you want in the future. An example would be a vacation to take one you need money and how do you get money working and saving over time. A problem I think with being Present Oriented I think would be never having to save money or plan things ahead an example would be having to think something in the instant if you think it on the moment it can come out wrong if its thought threw time and planned out threw it can come out good. A problem with being future oriented would be sometimes it takes to long to get what you want an example would be our education career I want to be a Pediatrician it takes 11 years of education if I want to be. I think these different perspectives affected the way European settlers and the Native Americans saw each other and interacted because they were really different and thought in different ways an example would be water and fire if you put them together steam will come out. I think I agree with the Europeans way because it’s better to think and plan for the future always so you can have a better life style and money.
Not Time Conscious vs. Very Time Conscious
I think not being time conscious is a benefit because it wouldn’t matter what time you had to go places and didn’t need to make it in places on time an example would be school we always have to be there on time and not be late but if we didn’t care of time then we wouldn’t have to wake up early for school. I think being very time conscious is a benefit because sometime people need time for some important things like a job or a date an example would be going on a date you wouldn’t want someone to come in whatever time they want they should meet up in a certain time. I think a problem with being time conscious would be not knowing what time things are or showing up palaces late an example would be going to a job meeting it’s not right to showing up in there all late. A problem with being very time conscious would be being late if you need to go palaces on time like at school we can’t be late because it affects our grade. I think these different perspectives affect the way European settlers and the Native Americans an the way they saw each other and interacted was probably really bad because if they ever felt like meeting with each other the Native Americans probably wouldn’t go to meet them on tome and it would make the Europeans mad. I think I agree with the Europeans because it’s always to try to be in a place on time then just when ever you feel like it.
Giving vs. Saving
Being focused on giving is a benefit because your care for other and help the less unfortunate an example would be Bill gates he is the richest man and he helps out the people he has programs in High School that give scholarships out to students. I think saving is a benefit because everyone should save money for what may come in the future a good example would be saving up to buy a car or a house. I think a problem with being focused would be always giving and never having for your self an example would be you would never have money for yourself since you’re taking care of other people. I think a problem with saving would you get greedy and stingy with money an example would be not sharing and helping poor people. These different perspectives affected how the Native Americans an Europeans saw each other and interacted was because they Native Americans were giving people always sharing and caring about others the Europeans cared about themselves and did share an example would be they had so many buffalos the Native American would be with ok in them getting some but Europeans didn’t want some they wanted all of them. I think the perspective ill go with would be the Europeans way because I prefer to save a lot of money but sharing is good but not to the limit to give all your stuff.
Cooperation vs. Competition
I think being focused in cooperation be a benefit because you help people out an example would be students helping out the community by doing community services. I think a benefit in of competition would be always doing your best and trying to win everyone an example would be me running for president its competition to see who wins and I will do anything that’s in my power to win. I think a problem in being cooperative would be always helping people and never think of yourself and giving your personally ideas to everyone. I think a problem with being competitive would be always thinking of yourself and trying to do anything even if it hurts a lot an example would be me running for president it wouldn’t be good if I did anything it probably do some bad things like cheat. These different perspectives brought conflict and the way the Native Americans and the Europeans saw each other were because they are too different Natives help and Europeans like to battle with one and other there would be good. I would go with both because you need t help around if you can but being competitive will be make you achieve things.
Harmony with Nature vs. Conquest over Nature
I think Harmony with nature is a benefit because nature is its self and doesn’t need the human hand to stay good an example would be the forest they don’t need us they survive alone. I think a benefit with conquest over nature is good because we start farming thing and taking a lot of things that are necessary an example are farmers they farm and get good crops out of it. A problem being focused with harmony with nature is that there are a lot of things that happens with nature like hurricanes and earthquakes and create damages in the earth and there is stuff that may need to be fixed. I think a problem with being focused to conquest with nature would be abusing the nature and getting to much stuff out of it that’s not need. I think this different perspectives affected the way the Native Americans and Europeans interacted would be because the Europeans messed around with nature and Natives didn’t they left nature be nature. I think I agree with both because its ok to sometimes fix nature and get stuff out about but not a lot.
